I’m working as Consultant – Software Development (Project Leader – E-Commerce / Creative Group), and my responsibilities includes handling the web / E-Commerce (B2B) projects independently, with direct client interaction and maintaining proper co-ordination with in the teams. Presently handling an Entertainment Portal for a Japanese Client and another Insurance Portal (Global Insurance) in association with I2 Technologies (Dallas (US) based company and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). I’m also responsible for the internal projects for the Escorts Group and am an active SEPG member with thorough knowledge of models like CMM, CMMI, ISO, etc.

Senior Web Designer
I was responsible for Art, Design & Visualization (Creative) activities, while working with Usha Group (ITIL), I worked on a project (website) for the groups' PalmTops (Handhelds) Products Division.

I was also responsible for the regular updates and maintenance of the sites owned by ITIL http://www.itil.com/, http://www.jspace.itil.com/, http://www.palmix.itil.com/, and www.web.itil.com (My role in this additional responsibility was to make regular product updates, check the functionality of each and every function, monitor the sales and make design modifications from time to time in order to make the sites more attractive, informative and easy to navigate).

I was more involved with the corporate portal http://www.indiai2i.com/, this site will provide the gateway to ITIL's B-to-B and B-to-C sites.

Web Designer
As Internet professional with over FOUR year IT experience including three years in Web Technologies, I believe to “Do IT right the first time”. I take “Awareness of Quality as an increasingly important element in competitiveness” and according to me, “The only system that causes Quality, is Prevention”. I was also responsible for basically Web Designing, apart from that I also visualized and hosted the sites as an additional responsibility. I have more than four E-Commerce Web Site projects on my credit during my tenure in this Organization so far.

I was responsible for the Visualization & generation of Design Layout for the above mentioned web sites, the development team consisted of two, and other member was Software Programmer.

I have worked on Air France (India) Web Site project www.vacationinfrance.com (115+ page project), through which Air France has tried to highlight it’s “Bonjour” Products (On-line Hotel Booking, on-line reservation to Paris Shows, Excursions, Restaurants, Theme holidays, etc.). The Site is an E-Commerce site made in INDIA (Other E-Com projects: www.giftsrus2000.com, www.i-imall.com, www.indiaarts.com).

Web Designer / Developer
As a web Professional, I was responsible for all activities related to Web Site Designing (right from visualization to hosting of the completed site) activities. I am capable of handling projects (web designing / programming) individually. I have credit of more than ten web sites on my individual credit during my tenure in this Organization.

5. NIIT Limited, New Delhi, Period Apr'95 - Jan'98

Senior Systems Executive
As a part of NIIT's Process and Quality Management group, I have worked closely with the delivery groups to ensure that all Software Development is on track from the word "Go". This involved Technical Evaluation, Re-Use co-ordination, Process Definition and Improvement, Metric Program, Process Dissemination, Quality Assurance, Audits, Reviews of product deliverables like FS, Design, etc. and Sample Testing of Softwares. As, Senior Systems Executive, I was into Instructional Designing for making Multimedia Computer Courseware Packages Development Unit (Learning Software Business Unit), Products Division at NIIT's Corporate office in New Delhi. I was Leading a team of 7 Instructional Designers and have developed almost 12 multimedia CBTs during my tenure with the Organization.

Most of the CBTs I developed were Microsoft Certified Projects in MS Office Components, Powerbuilder, Win NT (Workstation / Server), MS Exchange, Quality Management (with Quality Guru Philip Crosby's approval).

I was also an important member of the Graphics / Web Team and have helped in initial visual and conceptual (Look and Feel) Designs of the following websites: www.niit.com, www.niitnetvarsity.com (NIIT's own E-Commerce websites).
